Our Story:
Dirt Cheap began in Albion, California as the first bio-diesel powered dump truck delivery service, providing organic compost, topsoil, wood mulches and planting mixes.  In early 2003, we moved our operation to Fort Bragg and opened our retail store with 5 full time employees and Che’ the dog running the show.  We quickly grew from our humble beginnings to what we are now, the Mendocino Coasts only full service landscape supply. Now our 12 full time employees provide the homes, schools, community gardens, churches, and even a historic lighthouse with millions of pounds of organic compost, planting mixes, decorative stones, furniture, textiles and literally tons of other products.  We still deliver the highest quality garden products using only clean burning, vegetable based bio-diesel in all of our delivery vehicles, and tractors.

Our Mission:
We encourage our customers to beautify their homes and gardens using the highest quality, safest products found anywhere in the world. We will continue to promote and support a healthy and growing community by donating at least1 percent of our gross sales to a wide variety of organizations encompassing agriculture, education, charity and the arts. We will continue to provide the safest and most effective alternatives to toxic pesticides and fertilizers and to provide our customers with the information to use them correctly.
